Dojo Rules and Etiquette (Kyokushin Way)

All karate students training under HMBKKA must strictly follow standard dojo etiquette to ensure a clean, respectful, and safe training environment.

1. Bowing & Greeting (Osu!)

Students must bow and say "Osu!" when entering or leaving the dojo floor. This shows respect to the dojo space and the coaching staff.

2. Gi & Cleanliness

A clean white Karate Gi (uniform) with the HMBKKA badge must be worn during standard training and grading exams. Fingernails and toenails must be cut short to prevent injuries during sparring drills.

3. Safety & Sparring

Full-contact Kyokushin kumite (sparring) must only be done under Sensei Raju Bairagi or appointed black-belt instructors' direct supervision. Proper mouth guards and groin guards are recommended for kumite.

4. Fee and Grade Payments

Monthly training fees and belt promotional examination charges must be submitted on time. Grade certificates are awarded only after successful completion of the physical test syllabus.
